The king has been kidnapped and you must find him. Parts are linear, while others are not. There are side quests too. The game is split into 4 chapters (kinda like how Illusiat 7 was split into 3). After you progress for a while, you will end up in another part, but you will not be able to come back, so it's always a good idea to not be underleveled at any time, ensuring you can even beat the next monsters at all.
